2023 Volkswagen Jetta S

Your front seats operate manually, and a 60/40 split-folding rear seat allows you to expand your cargo capacity from the trunk. Your air conditioner utilizes an enhanced air filter with activated carbon that filters out harmful particulates.

Jetta’s multifunction steering wheel has intuitively placed all your cruise and infotainment controls for convenient operations. All your in-vehicle tech runs through the 6.5-inch touchscreen with a USB-C interface for your smartphone. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come preloaded, enabling you to run your favorite apps from your touch screen. You also get Bluetooth technology to stream your favorite playlists, access navigation information, and more. In addition, the Volkswagen Jetta S features an eight-inch Digital Cockpit Pro that displays your essential driving data.

Several available packages allow you to add advanced driver-assist systems to your Volkswagen Jetta. For example, one package includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking, and lane assist.

2023 Volkswagen Jetta SE

Moving to the Jetta SE trim priced at an MSRP of $24,145, you’ll find some notable upgrades. The driver’s seat power operates to eight positions and features lumbar support. The front passenger seat adds four-way manual operation. Sport front seats provide bolstered support and come standard with a heating function. The V-Tex leatherette upholstery gives you beautiful comfort and durability. Your 60/40 split-folding rear seat adds a fold-down center armrest with pass-through access to the trunk. In addition, the SE model comes with Volkswagen’s Air Care Climatronic 2 system delivering dual-zone comfort with the enhanced activated carbon air filter.

The SE trim uses the same 6.5-inch touchscreen but adds a USB-C charging port. In addition, the SE model comes standard with the driver-assist option package and the Travel Assist and Emergency Assist systems. Other interior upgrades include a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a remote engine start. You can add a power tilting and sliding sunroof to the SE model.

2023 Volkswagen Jetta SEL

With a starting MSRP of $28,145, the top-tier SEL trim offers many premium comforts and convenience features. The SEL comes with luxurious leather upholstery, heating in both rows, and front seat ventilation. In addition, the driver’s seat adds a memory function to save your preferred position. Your leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel now heats for additional comfort, and an ambient interior lighting system lets you adjust cabin lighting to suit your mood.

Technology upgrades include an eight-inch touchscreen with navigation and an AM/FM/HD radio. Beats Audio comes pre-installed along with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems. You also get the more extensive 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Pro system that lets you configure your data. Wireless charging comes standard on the SEL.

2023 Volkswagen Jetta Sport

The Jetta Sport slots between the S and SE trims with a $21,315 MSRP and signature style and performance features. The Sport model comes with most of the features found on the S trim with a few minor upgrades, such as sport comfort front seats, the 60/40 split-folding rear seat with center armrest and pass-through, and stainless-steel sport pedal caps. Performance enhancements include the XDS Cross Differential System, which improves steering and stability when cornering.

2023 Volkswagen Jetta Powertrain Options

The Volkswagen Jetta has a 1.5-liter turbocharged direct injection TSI engine. This engine produces an impressive 158 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, delivering a spirited driving experience. Drivers who want the connected driving experience of a manual transmission can opt for the standard six-speed manual on the S and Sport models, or you can choose an eight-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic shift technology. The SE and SEL models only come with automatic transmission. You can see how the Jetta stacks against the VW Golf to get a better idea of how it performs.

2023 Volkswagen Jetta Carefree Coverage

Every 2023 Volkswagen Jetta comes standard with this suite of services. You’ll enjoy free scheduled maintenance for two years or 20,000 miles, whichever comes first. Volkswagen Jetta owners get the added protection of three years or 30,000 miles of roadside assistance at no cost. In addition, a four-year/50,000-mile new vehicle warranty provides confidence that Volkswagen will take care of it if something goes wrong. Finally, Volkswagen now gives you five years of the myVW app at no charge. You can remotely operate your Volkswagen and access vehicle information through the app.

2023 Volkswagen Jetta Safety Features

Every Jetta was designed with the latest equipment and technology for a safe driving experience. For example, a rearview camera system delivers a wide-angle view from behind your Jetta, helping you back up confidently. In addition, the engineers at Volkswagen constructed the Jetta with a steel safety cage with crumple zones designed to distribute force away from the driver and passengers during a crash.

In the unfortunate event of a crash, your Jetta has an Intelligent Crash Response System. The ICRS will unlock your doors, shut off the fuel pump, and activate your hazard lights if a collision deploys the airbags. Unfortunately, not every vehicle stops after a crash. That’s why your Jetta has an Automatic Post-Collision Braking System to bring your Jetta to a safe stop after a collision. Another essential safety feature is a tire pressure monitoring system. Advanced sensors continuously monitor your tire pressure and alert you when the air pressure drops.
