To all of our guests, team members and friends,
With the recent news of the coronavirus (COVID-19) our highest priority is the safety of our customers and employees. Like many of you reading this, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning more about this virus and how it is impacting our world. We are closely monitoring the situation and are in contact with state and local government and health officials to continue to assess the situation. Bachman is also monitoring the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and the World Health Organization’s (WHO) guidance for responding to the Coronavirus.
First and foremost, with the nature of COVID-19 we have made several moves to make sure your visit is safe. Here are some ways we are taking action:
• Additional hand sanitization stations have been added in high trafficked locations
• Increased frequency of disinfection and cleaning of public restrooms and high-touch indoor areas, such as bathrooms, door handles, tables, food and beverage areas, cashier counters, communal computer workstations and guest lounges
• Employees who appear symptomatic have been asked to stay home
UPDATED 3/24: In light of recent events, we are unable to allow public access to our showroom beginning March 23rd, 2020 at 8pm.
SALES: We can continue selling cars, but with new safety processes in place. For the next few weeks our Client Care Team will be working from home and can answer your questions, provide pricing information, value your trade-in vehicles, and even walk you through the purchasing process. In an effort to continue supporting our community we will be finalizing paperwork for our customers online and over the phone. We will also be providing curbside and home delivery. Your safety is our #1 concern; therefore, we will not be allowing customers in the showroom and will be following all state, federal and CDC guidelines.
SERVICE, PARTS, BODY SHOP: Our Service and Parts Departments, as well as our Bachman Collision Center, will remain open as they are deemed “essential” in the state of KY. They will be closed on Saturdays until further notice. Customers are encouraged to drop off their vehicle for service and return home to wait for completion. We understand this is not always feasible and have rearranged our waiting lounge to encourage social distancing.
Thank you for taking the time to read this important message. We appreciate you more than you know and are doing what we can to make the difference in our community during these challenging times. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us at 502-499-6161.
