First up to bat, we’ve got the Hitting Lab at the Corey Taylor Sports Performance (CTSP) venue. This athletic training venue in the heart of Louisville is the perfect place to sharpen your baseball skills. It features indoor batting cages that you can rent, although be aware that you’re expected to bring your own balls and tee.
Single rental sessions for the batting cages run at $30 for 30 minutes and $60 for an hour. These sessions allow one player accompanied by one coach or adult. You can also book a team session for $70, six team sessions for $390, or 12 team sessions for $720. While there are no set hours, you can check the batting cage availability and schedule a session easily online through the CTSP website.

Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory
If you’re looking for a full day of baseball learning and fun, check out the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory. This is a baseball lover’s haven, with exhibits, events, and a museum full of legendary baseball paraphernalia. Of course, it also includes Bud’s Batting Cage, where guests can swing at fastballs with replica bats, making you feel just like Babe Ruth or Jackie Robinson. If you want a more modern experience, you can also try out the latest line of bats currently in use by baseball and softball teams across the world.
You can buy tickets for the full museum experience, including a turn at the batting cages, online. The tour usually takes between 60 and 90 minutes, and the museum highly recommends purchasing tickets in advance to ensure there is room for you on the tour. In addition to the batting cages, you can explore interactive exhibits, view historical items, and visit the biggest baseball bat in the world. Adult tickets cost $18. Seniors pay $17, children between the ages of 6 and 12 can get in for $11, and children under the age of 5 may join for free.

Okolona Indoor Batting Cages
The mission of Okolona Cages is to support Louisville local batters of all levels in their journey of learning and growing. Children are welcome, both as spectators and batters, making this the ideal batting cage option for families and little league teams. This indoor hitting and pitching facility also features immaculate fields and a friendly staff who are standing by, ready to assist.
You’re welcome to reserve a batting cage ahead of time, or walk-in to see if there is a slot open for you. Make sure you bring cash or a checkbook to pay, as Okolona Cages does not accept credit card payments. The batting cage and tunnel prices run at $15 for 30 minutes, $25 for an hour, $37.50 for one and a half hours, and $50 for two hours. You can also reserve a 30-minute session and then add an additional half hour of time for $12.50, as long as nobody else has the pitch reserved next.

Legends Sports Academy
Legends Sports Academy is an in-house training facility that focuses on baseball and softball. You can reserve lessons or individual sessions to practice on your own. You can even collaborate with Legends Sports Academy to create a recruiting video for your baseball or softball team.
The renting rates for batting cages depend on your membership status and what type of reservation you’re trying to make. For example, you can book a 30-minute lesson for $35 as a non-member, $32 as an “All Star” member, $29 as a “Gold Glove” member, and $26 as a “Legend” member. The other reservation options include a one-hour lesson, a 30-minute cage rental, or a one-hour cage rental. If you become a Legends Sports Academy member, you can also enjoy free and discounted gear and tokens.

Thornhill’s Batting Cages
The Thornhill Batting Cage venue is all about helping young batters improve. You can also purchase a private lesson to improve your skills even more.
You can rent the batting tunnel for 30 minutes for $15 or an hour for $25. Teams are also welcome to rent the entire building for $60 an hour. This allows them access to six workout areas.
